The Goodness of Our God

The Goodness of Our God: A Month of Triumph

As we step into a new month, we are reminded of the goodness of our God. He is always good, even when we don’t feel like it. We trust Him, even when we can’t trace Him. Sometimes, we find ourselves asking, “Where is God in all of this?” But we know that He is always with us, leading us to triumph in Christ Jesus. In 2 Corinthians 2:14, it says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” This verse is a powerful declaration of faith and trust in God’s ability to lead believers to victory in all circumstances.

But who are the people that God is talking about? Who are the ones that He causes to triumph always in Christ Jesus? According to 1 Peter 2:9, we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar people. We have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light, and our purpose is to show forth His praises. It doesn’t matter what we think about it or how we feel. God has chosen us, and He has given us the capacity to show forth His praises. When God calls us to do something, He also empowers us to do it. We are not just ordinary people; we are a peculiar people, set apart for His purpose.

So, what does it mean to triumph in all circumstances? It means that no matter what we are going through, God is always with us, leading us to victory. It might not be sweet, and it might be hard, but we know that God has not changed His mind about us. He has called us to show forth His praises, and He will give us the strength and the capacity to do it.

In Psalm 23, David says, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Even in the darkest of times, God is with us, comforting us and guiding us.

We are not accidental children; we are planned and purposed by God. Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” God knew us before we were born, and He has a plan for our lives.

As we walk through this month, let us remember that we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a peculiar people. We are guaranteed success, and we are guaranteed triumph. Let us walk in confidence and boldness, knowing that God is always with us, leading us to victory. Let us remember the goodness of our God. He is always good, even when we don’t feel like it. Let us trust Him, even when we can’t trace Him. Let us walk in triumph, knowing that God is always with us, leading us to victory. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a peculiar people. We are guaranteed success, and we are guaranteed triumph. Praise God!
